Alicante Beach

Alicante beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Blanca. It’s a very relaxed family beach near the city with crystal-clear water. You can spend hours relaxing in the sun, or swimming in the sea. There are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby to have a snack or lunch.

Alicante Esplanade Walk

This is a really attractive seaside walk with palm-lined mosaic pavement.


Basílica of St Mary of Alicante

The Basilica of Santa Maria is the oldest active church in Alicante, Spain. It was built in Valencian Gothic style between the 14th and 16th centuries over the remains of a mosque.

Santa Bárbara Castle Alicante

Santa Bárbara Castle is a fortification in the centre of Alicante. It stands on Mount Benacantil. From the summit it is possible to see the entire Bay of Alicante and the surrounding area. Archaeological remains have been found dating from the Bronze Age, as well as from the Iberian and Roman civilizations. However, the origins of the modern fortress date from the late 9th Century, the time of Moorish rule. The castle is accessible by lift from the sea front.

Alicante Golf

Severiano Ballesteros designed the spectacular par 72 course with a singular layout of 6 par 3, 6 par 4 and six par 5, which means that you never play two consecutive holes with the same par on the same round, this makes the game much more varied and amusing, and gives many opportunities for a birdie. Designed with 5 large lakes around 12 of the 18 holes. All of which give a challenge for golfers of all levels.

Island of Tabarca

The Island of Tabarca is close to the town of Santa Pola. Tabarca is a beautiful island with a lovely beach. The water is clear, and you can swim with the fish. Designated as a nature reserve, so there’s no fishing, which makes it great for snorkelling. You can catch a boat from Alicante or Santa Pola.

Rio Safari

Rio Safari Elche is located in a beautiful palm tree plantation and is home to hundreds of amazing animals from all corners of the world. Fancy exploring the wonders of nature and all its creatures? You can walk around the zoo, or you can take the Safari train, which winds inside of the enclosures. You can also discover even more about the animals at the daily shows. You can enjoy close encounters with some of the animals, like the lemurs or the sea lions!

In Rio Safari Elche you will find picnic areas, as well as restaurant service, and in summer the aquatic park is open without any additional cost. There is also a petrol go-karts track and trampolines.

Aqualandia Water Park

Aqualandia is the largest water park on the Costa Blanca. With amazing rides to go on throughout the park it’s definitely worth a trip – with things like the lazy river and some thrilling rides to go on its everything you could ask for a water park. Ideal for both young kiddies and adrenalin junkies!

Aquopolis Water Park

Aquopolis is the second biggest water park the Costa Blanca but is closer than Aqualqndia. It offers a range of attractions for every age, including Jacuzzi, Paradise, Speed, Kamikaze, Zig Zag, Zig Zag Mini, Speed Race Speed Race Mini, Rapids, Black Hole, Boomerang, Waves Beach, Blue Lagoon , Zip Line, Waterfall, Mini Park and Amazon River.



Casa Bonita is situated in an idyllic countryside location. The nearest town is the traditional Spanish town of Torrellano. It has many shops, major supermarkets, lots of bars and traditional Spanish cuisine restaurants. There are large shopping centres nearby that have everything you could desire!

Centro Comercial L’Aljub – Elche

L’Aljub is situated on the outskirts of Elche “the City of Palms”. Only a 15-minute drive, It’s the closest to drive to from Casa Bonita. The shopping centre has all the top shops in more than 60,000 m2 distributed over two floors. There’s even a cinema!

Zenia Boulevard – La Zenia

Zenia Boulevard is the largest shopping centre in the province of Alicante. It’s like a city, with its own streets, squares, fountains, concerts and daily events that gives life to Zenia Boulevard and make it different and surprising. It’s a shopping centre designed for the visitor to enjoy and have fun! 


The nearest town to Casa Bonita is the traditional Spanish town of Torrellano. It has lots of bars and traditional Spanish cuisine restaurants that are really good. Restaurante Los Almendros does really tasty paella.

La Bella Italia is an authentic Italian restaurant that makes hand thrown wood fired pizzas and delicious pasta dishes. There’s also a couple of takeaway places that make kebabs, burgers & pizzas etc.

If you head for the coast to Alicante or Santa Pola, you can get great authentic seafood dishes. Obviously as these are much larger towns, you can get just about any cuisine that takes your fancy. For those of you that miss a good Indian; Punjabi Palace located in La Marquesa Golf Quesada, takes some beating!

Plaza Mar 2 is an elegant, light-filled enclosed mall with multiple levels of international shops & a large supermarket. It also has lots of restaurants and a cinema.
